Restylane
Restylane is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler used to restore facial volume and improve the appearance of deep facial folds and wrinkles. Restylane offers several different products with varying formulas for different areas of the face. Firmer formulas like Restylane Contour and Defyne are best used to augment and enhance the cheekbones or jawline and fill in deep folds. Other products like Restylane Silk and Kysse have a more fluid structure with smaller hyaluronic acid particles. This flexibility allows these products to work well in areas that are constantly moving the lips.
Your Restylane Treatment
To start your treatment, your injector will discuss your cosmetic goals with you to determine the best products for your needs. Most patients do not consider Restylane injections to be painful, but a topical numbing cream can be applied at the start of your treatment to maximize your comfort.
