Your Restylane Treatment

To start your treatment, your injector will discuss your cosmetic goals with you to determine the best products for your needs. Most patients do not consider Restylane injections to be painful, but a topical numbing cream can be applied at the start of your treatment to maximize your comfort. The procedure only takes a few minutes.

Results and Recovery

There is minimal recovery and downtime required after Restylane treatment, although you should avoid strenuous exercise and sun exposure for the first few days. Mild swelling and bruising are common but could be worsened by sun exposure. Restylane results can take about 6 weeks to fully develop but these improvements in your skin quality will last 6-18 months, depending on the product used and where it was injected.
