Acne Facial
Acne is incredibly common for men and women of all ages, but many feel embarrassed about their blemished skin. If you want to restore clear, vibrant skin, we have the perfect facial targeted for treating acne. An acne facial focuses on unclogging the pores, removing dead skin cells, and soothing inflamed acne. We will start with a relaxing deep cleansing and exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and other surface impurities like dirt or makeup that may be clogging your pores and irritating your skin. Exfoliation also strips away dead skin cells to give you clear skin, improve your skin texture, and clean out blocked pores. Next, your aesthetician will perform an extraction process to remove blackheads and whiteheads blocking your pores.
Your facial treatment will be followed by a chemical peel, a soothing mask, and red or blue LED light therapy to calm the skin. Light therapy can shrink the oil glands in your skin, kill acne-causing bacteria, and reduce inflammation. You will be given an option of chemical peels and masks to use based on your skin type and other skin concerns you might hope to target.
Results and Recovery
There is no downtime or recovery after an acne facial. Your skin will be mildly red for 2-3 days, similar to a sunburn, and during this time, skin flaking is also common. Multiple facials can be scheduled a few weeks apart for maximum benefits and improvements. Over time, your skin will look and feel smoother, and the painful inflammation will subside so that you can enjoy clear, radiant skin.
